Live Stats is a website analysis package written by Media House.

If you requestLive Stats on one of your domains, you will be able to view real-time statistics for that domain name over the web. You'll get detailed, graphical reports on your visitors including who is currently viewing your website. You can access these reports without going through the control panel (see Viewing Live Stats) so making the stats available to others is easy.

  Viewing Live Stats
Once you have requested Live Stats on a domain there are two  ways you can view your statistics. 

1. Select 'Live Stats' under 'Statistics' on your control panel. Then select the domain you wish to view statistics on.
2. Go to http://livestats.<domain name>.

Note: After you install Live Stats on a domain it may take a few hours for the statistics to start showing.

Your Live Stats will look similar to the screen below.

 
  Configuring Live Stats
When you are viewing your Live Stats you will notice a link in the top right hand corner called 'Virtual Admin'. From here you can configure various settings for your Live Stats including:
  • Password Protection - assign usernames and passwords to stop anonymous access to your stats
  • Email - arrange to have reports e-mailed to you at specified intervals

Full online help is available when using the system. A link to this can be found in the top right hand corner of the Live Stats screen.

After you install Live Stats on a domain it is important that you consider your security settings as by default anyone will have access to your stats.
